That is currently not the case for loading up a Custom Edition map on MCC. On original Custom Edition, you were indeed able to drag and drop them into the maps folder. With them talking about file-share, Steam Workshop, etc., my hope would that they'd just allow for the simple download to a folder similar to how it's done in the PC files, but we'll see! The only sucky thing is that with the Custom Games Browser not allowing us to host our own dedicated servers, we'll never really get anything like in Custom Edition where there are tons of awesomely moderated servers that run awesome custom maps or other content and all of it'll pretty much be relegated to quick matches with a few friends rather than allowing for the one thing almost anyone excited for the CGB was expecting! I'm still keepin' my fingers crossed, though!. Of course I ended up with a hilarious bunch of maps in there, but I never had to remove any of the original map-files that were there from the start. So much potential with new maps for MCC.Actually, I never replaced any map-files when I was on Custom Edition it just has the option to drag-and-drop the files into the "Maps" folder and you were ready to go. Hopefully they could do something similar with Halo 2 Classic with the custom maps as well. Halo2Warfare wrote:It would be nice to be able to play with Xbox and PC players on custom maps.
